Taking care of mother comment

1. What is the main message of Group 2's podcast topic?
It is the issue about whether modern people should send their old mom to the nursery or let them stay with us.

2. Did their show provide solutions to the problem? What are they?
Yes, in their show I have heard that some old people even commit suicide instead of keeping staying at the nursery; from those tragedies, it isn't difficult to realize the old's inner thoughts and their hope. What they really want is company and a sense of belonging.

3. Comment on the group's podcast.
3.1 What can you say about the quality of recording?
Not bad. If the voice could be more balanced, it will be better!

3.1.1 Was the voice of the hosts/guests/characters loud and clear?
Yes, it was.
3.1.2 Was there any background noise that made it difficult to understand what was being said?
Background noise is still acceptable.
3.1.3 Was the pacing (speed) of the delivery (oral delivery made by the hosts/guests/characters) too slow or too fast?
No, it is clear.

3.2 Was there any sound effects or background music used? Was it effective? In what way?
Their music in the beginning is very interesting and suitable. At first, they caught everyone's eye successfully.

3.3 Was there anything that you like about their show? What is it and why?
They paid lots of efforts to search information related to this topic befor; therefore, the content of whole podcast isn't empty but abundant.

3.4 Was there anything that you didn't like about their show? What is it and why?
Some voice are a little bit small, and some are loud.

3.5 If Group 2 is given the chance to do another presentation, what would you suggest members of Group 2 to do to make their presentation better?
Balence the voice carefully.

4. What do you think?
4.1 What do you think about taking care of your mother/father? Should a child/children shoulder this responsibility? State your opinion based on any of the following factors:
Taking care of parents is a child's duty undoubtedly. When they were young, they spared no efforts to make money to support their children and strove to give them a better life; therefore, how can children refuse to take care of them in return or think of them as a big trouble? As the junior generation, we should know that without parents, we couldn't have stayed in this world until now. When my parents become old, I hope they could live with me. Because they don't have any son but 3 daughters, it will be easier to take care of them if we live together. What's more, the old may feel afraid and lonely as their friends or family disappear one after another; they really need our company in the rest of their lives. One day, if I become old, I will surely be eager to stay with my children!
